Donations to foodbanks
We have been unable to do our normal community activities during the coronavirus pandemic, such as holding meetings and organising clean-ups.
This left us with cash in the bank that we would normally have spent on hiring meeting rooms, for example.
We decided to support the community at this difficult time by donating to foodbanks working in our area (though not necessarily exclusively in North Kelvin).
Our donations so far are £250 to each of the following, making £1250 in total:
- The Children’s Wood G20 Youth Group
- Community Central Halls, Maryhill Road
- Partick Thistle Foundation
- Sikhs in Scotland
- St Gregory’s Church, Kelvindale Road.
