Community clean-up: Wilton Street Gardens, Sunday 29th August 2021
Our next community clean-up will be targeting Wilton Street Gardens and surroundings: Sunday 29th August from 10:30 to 12:30.
We will meet at 10.30 at the west end of the Gardens and intend to spend a couple of hours tidying them up. If you would like to continue beyond 12:30 we expect to finish about 2pm at the latest.
Depending on the number of people available, we will try to do some litter-picking in the surrounding streets – along Wilton St to Maryhill Road and then down Maryhill Road or Kirkland St to Raeberry St and Striven Gardens and up Yarrow Gardens to Wilton St, and back along Wilton St to the Gardens.
Please join in if you can! We will be spread out for Covid safety.
We’ll supply equipment but please bring your own litter picker, gloves and secateurs if you have them.
To keep things Covid-safe we won’t be supplying our usual refreshments, but please bring your own.
We will arrange to have the collected rubbish picked up from the meeting point.
We look forward to seeing you!
