Cycling champs August 2023: nearby road closures and bus diversions
The Cycling World Championships are coming to Glasgow soon!
There will be some road closures and parking restrictions in neighbouring areas and bus diversions on routes that serve North Kelvin.
Road closures
Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 August inclusive and weekend of 12/13 August
There are no road closures in North Kelvin but Kelvindale, Great Western Road and Hillhead are affected. Full details including maps of the affected streets: Get Ready Glasgow traffic and travel.
Bus diversions
Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 August inclusive and weekend of 12/13 August
Local First Glasgow routes affected include 6, 6A, 8, 60, 60A, 61 and 90. Information on diversions during the event can be found at www.firstglasgow.com/UCI.
Parking restrictions
Monday 31 July to Sunday 13 August
