Scottish Water sewer works on Kelvinside Terrace South and West

Works postponed

Shortly before their works had been due to start (11 November 2024), Scottish Water advised local residents that their planned sewer replacement on Kelvinside Terrace South and West has been postponed until a later date.

Roads to be closed during the works

When the works take place, Kelvinside Terrace South will be closed to all vehicles between Wilton Street and Doune Quadrant during these essential works. There will also be parking restrictions (see illustration below) but pedestrian access to properties and footpaths will remain open. Please follow all signs put in place.

Refuse collection will operate as per usual. The site team will liaise with the Council to ensure collections are not interrupted.

During the work you may notice some noise from construction equipment as SW operate 7 days a week between 08:00 and 17:00.

The repairs are expected to take at least 3 weeks.
