NKCC health walk to Cowlairs Park

The next walk will be to Cowlairs Park on Saturday, 14 December 2024.

Meeting point

Meet on Queen Margaret Bridge at the junction with Queen Margaret Road at 2pm, opposite our noticeboard.

About the walk

Cowlairs Park is between Possilpark and Springburn. This is (or was) a very large park but has been abandoned and is derelict in several places. However, it can be accessed safely in several places. It is scheduled for housebuilding in the near future. The walk is just over 6km (3.75 miles).

Registration

There is no need to book – you can just come along on the day.

However, if you haven’t done so already, it would be helpful if you could record your participation by entering your data on this registration link. (This needs to be done only once.)

Remember…

★ Please wear comfortable shoes

★ Dress for the weather and consider bringing drinking water

★ Walkers needing 1:1 support should bring a buddy with them to help

★ Children must be accompanied by an adult
